My love of gardening has been unfolding and evolving over the last ten years. I’m the daughter of two parents with very green thumbs and gorgeous flower gardens. In other words, it’s in my genes. When I started, I didn’t know a tulip from a poppy. What is this deadheading thing you speak of? What’s the difference between an annual and a perennial. I mean, I was clueless. However, when we purchased our first home, I got a crash course in landscaping! Slowly but surely, I learned a thing or two about flowers, shrubs and trees. My folks have contributed greatly to my perennial collection over the years and I continue to expand my flower beds while I learn and grow.
